Before your appointment

Preparing for your appointment

A named referral from your general practitioner or another specialist is required. Upon receipt of the referral, our staff will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment. If you have not heard within one week, please phone reception to confirm your appointment. If the original referral was electronically submitted, contact will be confirmed by telephone call by our staff.

Billing and Fees

All services are eligible for a medicare rebate, however there is a gap payable except for eligible DVA card holders. All major credit cards are accepted, we have EFTPOS facilities and Medicare rebates are applied immediately. Payment is required on the day of consultation, unless there is a pre-existing agreement with Workcover or an insurance company.

Additional tests recommended by Dr O’Gorman (blood tests, medical imaging, tissue pathology) may incur further expenses at the discretion of the provider (laboratory or radiology practice), and patients are advised to discuss these fees with the provider in advance.
